[CCK079] This kit is based on the quantitative measurement of potential dependent presence of JC-1 dye accumulated in mitochondria. Consequently, mitochondrial depolarization is indicated by an increase in the green/red fluorescence intensity ratio. The potential-sensitive color shift is due to concentration-dependent formation of red fluorescent J aggregates.
