[TC371] Meat Peptone is an enzymatic digest of lean meat tissue manufactured under controlled conditions. It contains amino acids, polypeptides, nucleic acids, vitamins and other nutrients. Meat Peptone can be utilized as a nitrogen source and growth factor in cell culture media formulations. It is also used to supplement media for culturing cells for fermentation and vaccine production.
