1X Dulbecco's Phosphate Buffered Saline is without calcium, magnesium and phenol red. But contains 120µg per ml of Gentamicin sulphate. It is most commonly used for tissue transport and tissue disaggregation since presence of calcium and magnesium ions may hinder the trypsin activity.
