[CCK011] 3T3-L1 cells are pre-adipocytic in nature. Preadipocytes committed to adipogenesis have to withdraw from the cell cycle before undergoing adipose conversion. Differentiation is achieved by culturing cells progressively in Differentiation medium 1 and Differentiation medium 2. Adipogenesis can be visualized or quantified by the ready–to-use Oil-red-O staining regents included in the kit.
